Common Seas company mission is to quickly and significantly reduce the amount of plastic produced and stop it polluting our ocean. I was commissioned by them to design a problem plastics guide under their Clean Blue Alliance programme.
Clean Blue Alliance connects islands with the latest and most effective best practice, through shared research, assets, guidance and dynamic tools to build a global network of plastic waste-free islands. The Clean Blue Alliance is currently active on islands in Greece and the Maldives and is in discussion with Indonesia.
This particular guide was targeted at hospitality businesses based on the Greek Island of Paros. The aim was to help the businesses identify problem plastics that they could be using and providing them with solutions or alternatives.
